Children Day Celebration – Sports Day & Fun Fair

Today Ju’s school had Sports Day and Fun Fair for Children Day Celebration. Weather forecast predicted there will be rain today but the weather turned out to be sunny.

Halfway through the queueing, Ju walked off and walked around the compound. Daddy trying to get him back into the game but he was not keen.

Ju was eyeing on this two containers full of goodies!

Not time for goodies yet… Sob Sob!

Ju feel better being the spectator…

Parent’s Event! Me carrying a big tummy cannot take part so daddy went alone. Ju and me sat aside cheering and video for daddy… Did not catch a photo, they ran with beanbag on their heads and hop with a black trash bag back to the team.

Best time of all! Food!

Fun Fair! Parents mend the game stalls and the kids had great fun!

A Good Day!

Monday was Julian’s first day of school after holiday! Yeah! My long awaited day…

A few interesting conversations and things happened during the day…

 

During lunch with Ju at home

Julian : Mummy, can I share your soup with you?

Me : No problem! Of course you can!

(Julian shared my bowl of soup happily. While I was clearing the table after lunch, Ju was mumbling to himself in the highchair…)

Julian : Can I eat chocolate please? No problem! Of course you can!

(I burst into laughter when I heard him and there was a cheeky smile on his face. Then I granted his wish with a few M&Ms)

 

In church during mass

As the mass was going on, after the priest finish giving his sermon, Julian stood up and said loudly…

Julian : Jesus! I like school!

And he repeated for a few times in church. It was embarrassing as he was really loud and I kept asking him to whisper instead. On the other hand, I was quietly happy to see him truly enjoying his school that day, or else he would not have said that.

 

Our walk home from Church

Ju collecting branches along the way. (He saw Clare collecting pods when we went to the Botanic Gardens together last week, now he is imitating Clare by collecting branches)

 

Ju collected enough branches and laid them on the ground.

 

Julian : I draw something.

 

I was amazed as I saw him “drawing” many crosses on the ground. He bowed down his head and said “Jesus I love you!”

 

While I was washing dishes…

Ju was standing behind the cabinet stacking with the bowls and plates! All I could hear while I washing dishes was… cling clang cling clang… Thank God I did not have to clean up broken dishes!
